has it potiental

I have found this little caravan...
It happens to be close to home...
and the right price...
and even the length...12ft
it has very cute windows in the back,
and looked after inside...
but the colour is so not me...
now the dilemma is...is it fixable...
can I make it vintage cute...
or will it never look vintage cute...
I really had more of a silver bubble idea in mind...
and I said to my husband...well I'll just re-spray it...
well of course that was meet with a...are you kidding!!!
it's powder coated...
and of course that was meet with me saying...so!!!

So dear readers...
is it workable or not...
should I look some more...
or try and work with it...
the thing is, to find a small caravan these days is so hard...
They really don't come along very often...
oh...I just don't know...
why oh why do they not have airstream's on every corner
like in America...
sorry read readers for the ramble...
but sometimes it just helps to get the
opinion of creative people like yourselves...

  1. I was thinking - "Just spray it"
Could an auto spraypainter do it?

  2. Hey Michelle... In regards to you asking "should I look some more, or try and work with it..."

I'm sorry to reply with this but only you can make this decision. You have been looking for a long time and know what you want. So you know what will make you happy. Maybe this will, maybe you'll always be wishing you kept looking. I suspect you already know the answer....

  4. I think you can paint anything as long as you use the right paint so go for it!

  5. I think if there is something out there that you really, really want (airstream)... you should hold out for it and don't settle!

Good luck and keep us posted on your decision:>)

  6. I'm with Nikki. I think if you have even the smallest doubt, then you probably already know the answer. If you hold out till you find the perfect one for you, it will all work out!

  7. Hi, I'm thinking that if you are asking the question of us 'the reader' than you know your own answer. That said, you can always call around to see what work could be done to it and at what cost. Just a thought. Good Luck. Peta
