I found this little set here in townand it is so very cute...
The cups and saucers are tiny!!!
I didn't even think they made small ones like this eons ago...
The milk jug is a normal small size of about 12 cm...
So that gives you an idea of the size of the others...
The brand is Grindley England...
and I do have other plates with this same brand
so my collection is slowly growing...
But I think at the moment these are my new fav's...
On other news I am making progress with my
little caravan sketches
and hopefully you will see a few more real soon...
and maybe something special with one of them?

Hi Michelle, I have some tiny cups like that only mine are pink. I also have some delicate little floral ones. They are lovely aren't they.

ReplyDeleteI don't know why but my Mum reckons those tiny cups & saucers were called a coffee set... apparently they had that strong black coffee in them... I even got a set in a large dinner set our Uncle gave us for a wedding present... yumm... how long ago.. ohhh yes your age... ha ha. The dinner set even included a proper tea set with teapot & this coffee set also included a coffee pot much like the milk jug you have but with a lid... thought you might find this interesting/boring... ha ha... OOroo... B
